Somos Luz: Compartiendo Memorias del Barrio

Es una comunidad del Laboratorio Ciudadano de Nuevo León, que tiene la intención de recuperar la memoria, conocimientos, usos y costumbres del Barrio de la Luz para lograr el fortalecimiento del vínculo de la comunidad con el territorio, potenciar el tejido vecinal y rescatar el valor del barrio. Como primer prototipo se trabajo en una caja/mapa donde se resguardarán las memorias de quienes han habitado el barrio, haciendo una red de eventos, registros fotográficos y recuerdos. El segundo prototipo es una lotería del Barrio de la Luz, que representan los hitos y personajes que dan al barrio su carácter e identidad.

Somos Luz is a community from the Citizen Laboratory of Nuevo León, aimed at recovering the memory, knowledge, practices, and traditions of the Barrio de la Luz to strengthen the community’s connection with the territory, enhance neighborhood cohesion, and rescue the value of the neighborhood. As the first prototype, they worked on a box/map that will safeguard the memories of those who have lived in the neighborhood, creating a network of events, photographic records, and recollections. The second prototype is a “Lotería” of Barrio de la Luz, representing the landmarks and characters that give the neighborhood its character and identity.
